This is my FIRST instrumental album!!! I wasn't sure I would ever release one but here it is!
Included in this album are ideas that were conceived over a LONG period of time.
My musical journey began of course with the guitar many moons ago.
I lived and breathed the guitar...every waking moment was dedicated to learning and mastering this instrument...until the day when...I wrote my first song.
From that moment on, the guitar became a tool...a means to an end...a gateway to writing.
But in this moment, and for the past year and a half, the guitar has taken centre stage once again and has been my absolute obsession.
Like it once was in the beginning.
Hence the name, Full Circle.
This album is dedicated to the great and late guitar master, Andrew Koleka, who first showed me how to hold a pick and strum across the strings.
And when I would BEG for him to show me the advanced juicy bits, he would always say "Billy, you must learn to take off before you can fly the plane."
And of course, he was right.
